ISAM Keynote Dedicated to Aaron Hoover
In 2022, The International Symposium on Academic Makerspaces
(ISAM) held their annual meeting in Atlanta. While these conferences have
taken place each fall since 2016, this one was special: ISAM created a
Keynote in honor of Aaron who was a loved Olin professor, thought leader and

Thank you to
everyone who attended Olin’s Connecting Communities virtual event last week.
Oliners presented about different sustainability efforts to the Needham
community, including an Olin team working on a solar car port installation
and a faculty/student team working on renewable energy harvesting. For
those who were unable to attend, or would like to relive the hour, a

Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine interdisciplinary committee of
experts who will soon be sharing a cohesive report developed with
recommendations for actionable antiracist mechanisms to advance diversity,
