Oct. 26: Field Trip to Boston art museums

Come join us
for a fun-filled community visit to the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) and
Isabella Stewart Gardner (ISG) museums in Boston. Admission to the museums
and the bus trip, supported by the Moody Fund, is free to all students, staff
and faculty. The bus will leave from the Olin Oval at 12:30PM and leave
from the MFA at 4:30PM for the return to Olin. Please indicate your interest in this event on this

Oct 28: Climate Justice Speaker – Gopal Dayaneni

The
Office of IDEA, in
conjunction with the CaLL Sustainability Changemakers initiative, will host
Gopal Dayaneni as a guest speaker to present Just Transition: Community
Solutions to the Climate Crisis. Gopal (he/him) teaches at San Francisco
State University in the Race and Resistance Studies and Asian American
Studies Departments. He is a co-founder of Movement Generation: Justice and
Ecology Project, which inspires and engages in transformative action towards
the liberation and restoration of land, labor, and culture. This event is
open to the entire Olin community.

Co-hosted by
Babson and the Generator with the Cambridge, Massachusetts, arm of Microsoft.
More than 200 students and faculty, as well as Microsoft representatives, are
expected to attend this all-day hackathon with different AI challenges.
